We took our time looking around and finding a Childcare Centre that would be the right fit for Malo.
Cairns Childcare Centre have been supportive and addressed all of our concerns as a family right from the start. We are given daily updates and photos so we can see what he learns and enjoys outside of the home. We love all of the creative activities he does such as cooking, gardening and the craft activities with recycled materials.
We knew we'd found the right place when after 3 weeks of attending, Malo ran to the front door early one morning, wearing nothing but his backpack and demanding to go to "school". It was such a relief that this was a place he looked forward to going to each morning. He has made lots of friends and loves his teachers.
We as a family feel very lucky that he has these additional social and educational experiences outside of what we also do at home.
Bianca, Richard and Malo
Our son has been attending Cairns Central Child Care for over 2 years. From the first day, we were made to feel welcome and the centre has provided a caring and nurturing environment in which he feels secure and happy. During this time, it has been wonderful to see him grow in to such an independent and confident boy.
The staff clearly enjoy working at the centre and this shows in their dedication and attitude towards the children.
Having all the meals provided makes things so much easier for working parents as well as nappies being included for the younger age groups.
